15 Oct. 2026 North County Food Bank Oct. 15, 2026 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Our next Food Bank is Thursday, October 15, 1-4 PM at the NEW LOCATION: 2260 Oak Ridge Way, Vista, CA NC Volunteer Center Parking Map.pdf REVISED link to sign up: https://sdfb.volunteerhub.com/vv2/lp/cbadhinoon The link will direct you to a page to sign in or create an account. If you have previously volunteered with the Food Bank, sign in to your existing account, and your sign-up will be complete. If you need to create an account, click on the “create account” button on the top right of the page. Type in a username and password. The next page will ask you to check all that apply. Usually it’s “I just want to volunteer.” Complete the personal information form and click “Submit.” You will be redirected back to the sign-up page. Accept the waiver & click “Sign Up” for the volunteer shift. Important information: Each person in the group must sign up for the shift—this includes kids (16 years of age or older), friends, significant others, family members, etc. Any unused volunteer slots will be released for other community volunteers to sign up 1 week before the scheduled shift. To sign up for the shift, all volunteers must sign in to their account, scroll to the event date, and select the green “sign up” circle next to the date. Volunteers at the San Diego Food Bank must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer independently. Must wear closed-toe shoes. Plan on arriving 10 minutes early for the shift. 16 Dec. 2026 Jefferson Wrapping & Gift Pick Up Dec. 16, 2026 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. 🎄 Jefferson Elementary Family Holiday Giving 🎄 We’re doing things a little differently this year for the Jefferson Elementary families we’ve adopted, and we’re excited to make it a fun and memorable afternoon for the kids! 📅 Wednesday, December 16 📍 Jefferson Elementary School 3:00 PM – Gift Wrapping & Setup We’ll meet at the school at 3:00 PM to get all the gifts wrapped, organized, and ready for the families to pick up. 5:00–6:00 PM – Family Celebration 🎅☕🍪 We’ll welcome the families with hot chocolate and cookies, and Santa will be there to greet the children and hand out a small gift to each child. 🎁 WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! We’re looking for a few helping hands to: 🎁 Wrap and organize gifts ☕ Set up the hot chocolate and refreshments 🍪 Help with cookies and serving 🎅 Help make the afternoon special for our Jefferson families Come for an hour or stay for the whole afternoon — every helping hand makes a difference!
